THE HUNT
For this hunt most of the locations will be based in stock ponds or private lakes and the occasional field and river. To start off the hunt we will always arrive 1 hour before daylight to brush blind and set a spread. From there we will have a safety meeting about what is expected of each hunter. Then we will get settled in to start having an action-packed hunt!!
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU!
Waders: Most blinds are accessible without waders. However, bring them just in case if plans change on location.
Outerwear: Prior to leaving home, we recommend checking weather to prepare for your hunting dates.
Camo Patterns: If a choice can be made, try to keep things on the hardwoods or marsh end of the spectrum. NO BRIGHT COLORS
Guns/Ammunition: Either 20 or 12 gauge is sufficient for most of our spots. We recommend a full or extra full choke. We also suggest using 3 to 3 1/2-inch steel shot shell.
License/Stamps: Each client MUST have a Texas Hunting License and a Federal Duck Stamp.

The season for our zone is November 12-27 2023 and December 3 - January 29 2023/2024
